Since Alicia has returned from Europe the band has been busy playing lots of gigs around town and a few regional ones as well.While in Europe Alicia played festivals in the UK and Germany with Shisha PM.
Last weekend we all had a fantastic time at the wonderful Maldon Folk Festival. We would all highly recommend this one as an excellent festival to include on your calendar
It's a charming little town, and the festival is so chilled compared to most of the larger ones.
There is plenty of choice, quality sound and some great venues such as the beautiful Penny School built in 1860 and now converted into a lovely cafe/gallery.
It was great to have our original guitarist Andrew Shepherd playing with us and Coral Farrow adding some banjo to some of our songs.

* 12th September The Darebin Music Feast at the Wesley Anne 250 High St Northcote 8.30pm.
We have a great show planned as part of the Darebin Music Feast - 'The twins, the skinny man and the owl'.
It’s Alicia’s homecoming show and we will be doing songs which will be on our new album plus some you will know well.
Our special guests are amazing guitarist Tim McMillan who plays his own unique brand of acoustic, viking metal/power folk – it’s a fusion of many styles including flamenco, blues, fingerstyle and Latin jazz – sure to be a feast for the ears!
And Owls in the Swamp – Melbourne singer/songwriter Pete Uhlenbruch combines distinct mellow vocals with haunting melodies and lush instrumentation to create an enchanting style of 'swamp folk'.
Pete will also just be home from Europe. Promises to be an amazing night.
* 26th September 13th – The Newmarket, Bendigo. We return to Bendigo after almost two years.
* 18th September – Acoustica at The City Library Flinders Lane, Melbourne – we’ll be doing two sets from 6pm.
* 31 October - 2nd November – The Maldon Folk Festival. Maldon hosts the oldest folk festival in Victoria. It’s a quaint historic town with lots of atmosphere and charm. There’ll be plenty of great music, dance and theatre over the weekend with the main venue at Mt Tarrengower and many others in pubs and venues in the town centre. Check it out at www.maldonfolkfestival.com. Let you know our gig times later but there will be a number of opportunities to catch a set.
* 11 November - Alicia is supporting Michelle Hines at her CD launch @ The Paris Cat 6 Goldie Place, Melbourne accompanied by Amy and Andrew Shepherd on guitar. Alicia is also singing harmonies for Michelle.
* 14 November - 'Old Hat' a new jazz duo with Alanna (vocals) and Liam O'Connell(guitar and vocals) will be playing @Bebida 325 Smith St from 7pm. They will be having a special guest on double bass.
* 19 November - The Empress,714 Nicholson St, Fitzroy North with Ellen Kibble and Khristian Mizzi & the Sirens
